Here’s how you should take care of your skin in the middle of summer!
Sunscreen – mandatory every day

Excessive exposure to these rays leads to premature ageing of the skin, wrinkles, sunspots, skin lesions and increased risk of skin cancer. Here are some recommendations to avoid such problems:
- Use sunscreen every day, even if you plan a short walk in the morning and the sun doesn’t seem so strong, reapply sunscreen regularly if you sweat or get in the water often,
- Wear protective clothing such as a hat or sunglasses,
- Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours.
Lips can also be extremely dry in hot weather, creating discomfort. To avoid such a problem, you can apply a lip balm with sun protection factor.
Moderate exfoliation and intense moisturizing
Exfoliating is not so recommended in the warm season because it can stress the skin, but you can opt for moderate exfoliation, which helps remove dead skin cells and keep your skin looking healthy.
Heat and sweat can lead to dehydration of the skin, so make sure you moisturize your skin intensely with lotions or light moisturizers that don’t weigh down the skin. Don’t forget that internal hydration also plays an important role in keeping your skin healthy, so make sure you drink enough water, especially on hot days.
Proper sebum control
People with oily skin face a rather annoying problem in the hot season – the high temperature stimulates sebum production and makes the skin even oilier. One of the biggest mistakes you can make is using cleansers too often because they can dry and irritate the skin. Proper sebum control is often done with toning lotions that regulate sebum secretion and avoid blocking pores.
